Won this book from GoodReads. What a great book to surprise someone with a cute little dog. It’s a perfect book for a child or even someone who is in need of a cute book. The artist of this book made beautiful pictures in which kids could understand what the image portrayed. I loved that the author explained how she loved her first puppy, and she still remembers him. What touched me the most was the website that was created, which supports dogs for the deaf. If you’re a dog lover and have children, check out the website heypupshome.com. I recommend this book. It will bring out a smile to everyone who reads it.

Won this book from GoodReads. It’s such a great book for kids to learn how to prepare for camping. I loved how the kid was more like the parent, while the dog was the child worried about everything. It also shows how children have an imagination in order to have fun. I loved the cover and the cute pictures. Great book to read to children. They will love it.

My Review: Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Won this book from GoodReads. I was entertained with Batman and Superman beating each other up. It was great having two Batman and Superman telling each other what to do. It was a fun book to read. The pictures were perfect for each scene. I loved that Cat Women and Wonder Women became part of the story.

I met Jessica in person at Bookcon a few years ago. It was great meeting her. I love this book. It’s so colorful and lively, plus it’s about children with food allergies. It is well written and a great book to read to children. Plus, when you purchase the book, 10% of the proceeds get donated to Food Allergy Research and Education. If you have children or are an educator, you would definitely want to grab a copy of this amazing book.

A magical novel with delicious bake goods that will decipher the mystery behind the death of Odessa. Lo Heal Park is figuring out her magical powers. Odessa’s death will help Lo solve the mystery with the crack under the town that was sparking magic that was holding something evil from being unleashed in the real world and solving Odessa’s murder. I had fun with Skylar Blue (a cat), whom Lo can speak with. Skylar, with her southern sass, had me giggling throughout the story. Let’s not forget the romantic sparks between the love triangle. Who will Lo fall in love with? Lo is part of two worlds, the magical and the real world. She will protect both worlds with her life.

I got this book at BookCon in NYC a few years ago. I got to meet Stacy, who was very sweet. I enjoyed this book because I love animals. The pictures were nicely done.It’s a great book to teach children the cycle of baby turtles and the obstacles they have to overcome before heading to their real home in the ocean. Thanks for the extra info about turtles.

Dark Shadows Weekend: Day 2

We had such a great time at Champagne at Collinwood (Lyndhurst Mansion). It was super humid but gorgeous out to have some champagne and appetizers. We were able to walk through the mansion and have a chat with the Dark Shadow cast members.

If you live near Tarrytown, NY, don’t forget to tour the mansion.

Dark Shadows Weekend at the Lyndhurst Mansion

It’s another year of the Dark Shadows Weekend at the Lyndhurst Mansion. In attendance was Kathryn Leigh Scott, Marie Wallace, Donna McKechnie, Sharon Smyth, and Grayson Hall son Matthew Hall.

I met Kathryn and Marie two years ago. I also attended the event they did last year and met Sharon and another cast member.

Won this book from GoodReads. The images were perfectly done. I enjoyed reading the whole formation of how these monsters came about. I had no idea that radiation was the key to keeping these monsters active. I need to go see the movie now. My brother loves Godzilla.
