Author Biography

Lynda lives in Cheshire in the UK. She runs a successful financial business with her husband.
As a young teenager Lynda used to read horror books with a love for everything Stephen King and James Herbert. She has always wanted to write and even wrote horror stories at age 13/14. A little later she started reading Jackie Collins and Jilly Cooper and has always had a love of books. This then exploded with Twilight and Fifty Shades as it did with most people, oh, and the introduction of E-Readers.
In her spare time, she has a season ticket for Manchester City Football Club and goes to all the home games. Loves going to concerts and the theatre. She goes to the cinema at least once a week. Then when the weather is nice you can see her gliding down the road on her Harley Davidson 1200T motorbike.
Travelling is also high on the agenda and her dream is to visit every state in the USA.

My review: Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I love the sexy Neisson brothers. I love me a strong, caring cowboy and ready to protect me, I mean seriously, who wouldn’t!! I must confess I have the biggest crush on Liam Neeson, so yes I definitely imagined this Liam to look just like him.

We continue this next story with another Neisson brother. Liam Neisson is starting to fall hard for his sister’s best friend Amanda Rodrigues. Amanda always had a crush on Liam. Will sparks ignite? Will there will be fires lit, but I assure you it wasn’t sparks from this hot connection between Liam and Amanda. Amanda is in need of help to protect her farm and animals and the only man looking to do all the watching is Liam. While keeping a close watch on Amanda their romance will move to the next level. The Neisson brothers will work together to protect Amanda and her property. The readers will enjoy some suspense, thrills and romance. Come check out the sexy Liam with his feisty Amanda.

I’m a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, “No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book.” I didn’t think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn’t already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. My Review: Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Evil comes in many forms. The Hollow Ones are looking to control people to make them do their dirty work. At times people might not see the consequences, when doing a séance. The price you pay might be yours or someone else’s life.

John Silence got to live through this evil first hand. He hoped after so many years he would be able to stop The Hollow Ones from controlling people. Odessa walks right into the raging attacks of The Hollow Ones. Odessa summons John Silence for help not knowing who he is and what exactly he does. They work together to save the community and trap The Hollow Ones.

This is a quick read with occult summoning’s throughout the book. It provided a great background into John Silence and how he became the capturer of these evil spirits. I would have liked John Silence to have had more special powers. The book was interesting, but they were a few parts where the book was a little slow. I would have liked more action and for the evil spirits to have caused more chaos. A supernatural detective novel that will have you running to save the next innocent soul from The Hollow Ones.

Guillermo del Toro is a Mexican director mostly known for his acclaimed films Pan’s Labyrinth, The Devils Backbone, Crimson Peak and the Hellboy film franchise. His films draw heavily on sources as diverse as weird fiction, fantasy, horror, and war. In 2009, Del Toro released his debut novel, The Strain, co-authored with Chuck Hogan, as the first part of The Strain Trilogy, an apocalyptic horror series featuring vampires. The series continued with The Fall in 2010 and concluded with The Night Eternal in 2011.

Chuck Hogan is an American author. His story “Two Thousand Volts” appeared in The Best American Mystery Stories 2009. He is the co-author of The Strain Trilogy with Guillermo del Toro. His 2004 novel Prince of Thieves was adapted to film as the Ben Affleck directed The Town in 2010.
