My Review: Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Money and power go hand in hand. How far will you go for money and reputation? What does revenge look like to you?
This thriller has twist and turns throughout every page. Each character has their own secret, with a hidden agenda. This book will unravel a families deceit, privilege, secrets and revenge. I loved how Hank wrote this story. She gave us characters that you knew from the very beginning weren’t who they say they were. They were all hiding their true self’s in order to move forward with their goals. Us readers had to turn into reporters in order to decipher, who these characters really are and what their hidden agendas will unveil. This made the story so much more fun with a guessing game until the very end. I was frighten for the safety of the characters, since everyone was suspicious to me. Being able to have children is a blessing and to have that taken away is truly heart-wrenching. As a reader I can truly understand the characters struggles, anger and desperation. I highly recommend this twisted thriller and it’s complicated characters.
