My Review: Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Won this book from Goodreads. I was surprised to see that the author was Nick Cannon. It has the most amazing cover and illustrations by AG Ford. The children were exact replicas of Nick’s children. I would have loved if this book was written as a song, I could imagine a funky tune. I really enjoy Christmas. This was such a wonderful book for children.

Nick Cannon is a successful, multi-faceted entertainer: comedian, TV executive producer and host, film star/director, entrepreneur, philanthropist and children’s book author. He was cited by People Magazine as one of the “Top 10 Most Successful Young People in Hollywood.” He was the host of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” from 2009 through 2016. Quirah is still a new author, but not new to writing. She has been writing since the first grade, and has been winning awards since kindergarten, when she told her teacher about her trip to Chicago. Her teacher wrote down the story for her and she won the young authors contest at 5 years old! I’m a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, “No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book.” I didn’t think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn’t already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven’t been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.

A page turner until the very the end. Let me tell you, I don’t like to be scared in the middle of the night. Creepy noises going bump in the night, loud blaring music waking you from your lovely sleep and doorbells being rung in the middle of the night, this my friends was how Rowan spent her evenings in this creepy house. I love technology, but this house was truly scary. Everything was run by computers, even the simple things like making coffee, turning lights on and turning the shower on were all made complicated with technology. Many secrets are hidden in the home. Prior deaths have scarred the property. When you read the story it’s not what it all seems. Secrets will unravel and surprises will shock you and reality will set in. A Family might seem perfect until you turn the key. Be careful of your intentions!

My Review: Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks, Debbie for such a fun book. I really enjoyed the race the FBI had trying to capture Ashley. Loved the chemistry between Ashley and Dash (perfect character name for a Christmas romance). I laughed all the way through this book. I loved the idea your husband had about the no fly list. It gave the story life and uniqueness. The hallmark movie was just as enjoyable as the book. Thanks for always writing great books.
