A page turner until the very the end. Let me tell you, I don’t like to be scared in the middle of the night. Creepy noises going bump in the night, loud blaring music waking you from your lovely sleep and doorbells being rung in the middle of the night, this my friends was how Rowan spent her evenings in this creepy house. I love technology, but this house was truly scary. Everything was run by computers, even the simple things like making coffee, turning lights on and turning the shower on were all made complicated with technology. Many secrets are hidden in the home. Prior deaths have scarred the property. When you read the story it’s not what it all seems. Secrets will unravel and surprises will shock you and reality will set in. A Family might seem perfect until you turn the key. Be careful of your intentions!

Ruth Ware grew up in Sussex, on the south coast of England. After graduating from Manchester University she moved to Paris, before settling in North London. She has worked as a waitress, a bookseller, a teacher of English as a foreign language and a press officer. She is married with two small children, and In a Dark, Dark Wood is her début thriller.
