A graphic-novel series for emerging readers about the simple magic of true friendship
Easy-going Fox and anxious Rabbit seem like total opposites. But, somehow, they make the perfect pair! Whether searching for hidden treasure or planting a garden in their own backyard, Fox and Rabbit find everyday magic at every turn. On this first adventure, the pair will discover some new favorite things like sunsets, dandelions, and cotton candy. And they’ll face new fears like heights, swimming, and (poisonous!) frogs. Thankfully, there’s nothing Fox and Rabbit can’t do together!
My Review: Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love the adventures Fox and Rabbit have. They are such great friends that enjoy having fun together. This book had a few stories.
The first story they both go to a fair. Fox has a swell time winning, while Rabbit cannot win anything. At the end they enjoy the fireworks and the time at the fair.
The second story they go to the beach. Fox can’t wait to go swimming, while Rabbit found every excuse to do anything to avoid the water. He is super scared of the water. Rabbit decides to dig the deepest hole. Fox finally gets him in the water and he loved it. They enjoyed the sunset and find a message in a bottle.
Their next adventure is the map they found inside the bottle. They are supposed to find a secret island, but they need to cross high mountains and creepy smelly waters. They were both brave and made it to the island, but didn’t find what was so fantastic about this place. They enjoy their company and nature.
The last story Sparrow teaches them how to garden. They worked so hard to see their plants grow to find them all eaten. Rabbit just couldn’t help himself.
I love Fox and Rabbit’s adventure, because they always play together and go on adventures together. There are times where one is having a happier time but at the end they work together to make each other happy. The illustrations are so cute. I love the turtle arriving at the end of each chapter asking if he missed anything. That is super funny.
